ABOUT

I have been playing all types of music in various settings. This included--but wasn't limited to--providing live music various employment in both nursing home and assisted living facility settings as well as live performance in both open mic and spontaneous open jam sessions with other musicians.

Influences

I would say that my influences come from various classic rock from the 1960s and the 1970s. From the 1960s, I would list various bands/musicians from the British Invasion with the Beatles as my favorite band; other favorites would include Herman's Hermits and The Monkees(though they wouldn't be classified as a British invasion band). I'd definitely put the 1970s Glam Rock as a musical influence with the Sweet being my favorite band--as a result of their being a musical influence, I attempt to utilize both instrumental and vocal harmonies and arpeggios. Other favorites include T-Rex, Suzi Quatro, Wizzard, and various other musicians/bands. In addition, as a result of a past trip to Memphis, TN, I tend to add blues to my own original compositions because I've witnessed the effects that performing them has had on audiences.
