ABOUT

Hi everyone! I'm currently looking to get together with other musicians and create a band. I make (for the most part) blackened-thrash type music, and generally experiment within metal. I have written 4 (mostly) complete songs and I'm working on more. I enjoy the writing process but I'm looking for other musicians interested in developing songs and a style and exploring and experimenting with with our music. This would be my first time making a band, so I'm not picky as long you're willing to participate and practice.

A little bit about myself: My name's Glenn, I'm 17, and I've been playing music since 3rd grade. I took classical piano lessons for around 7 years before deciding to switch to guitar, and I've been learning and playing that for over 2 years. I'm technically decent on electric guitar and I'm still learning all the time. I also have a good amount of theory knowledge as well. I play metal now mainly, and got into it via bands like Metallica and Black Sabbath. I've worked on developing my style somewhat, but of course that is ever-evolving.

Currently, I'm looking for a drummer, bassist, second guitarist and dedicated singer. I've been writing for these instruments myself to some avail, but definitely need dedicated people. If you're around me and interested in joining, feel free to message me or email me at gwtappan(at)g mail(dot)com and we can discuss the details. I look forward to meeting you!

EQUIPMENT

Currently own a Jackson JS22 Dinky guitar, an acoustic guitar, and a Boss Katana 100 Amp, as well as the necessary equipment that goes with those (accessories, wires, etc.). I also own an older (but still 100% useable) Yamaha keyboard with pretty barebones settings.
