Long time hobbyist trying to keep up the habit. I have a good ear and experience playing live, but my favorite aspect is definitely the creating/composing process. I'm very open-minded when it comes to genres, but I often get bored if the music is too simple or conventional. I geek out on unexpected twists and turns, and strong melodies that are dark and psychedelic. To date, I've played regularly in trios ranging from indie rock to electroclash to black metal. None of them got too active, but I'd love to change that going forward.
