ABOUT

Many years ago I played a lot. Then college and life began. Trying to get back into it. For me the social aspect was always the best part of it. Got a Tom Petty tune you like? I can play, probably sing it, too. Neil Young, any garage rock hit you can name, a bit of Pink Floyd and even some hard rock, AC/DC era.

Influences

My weird fever dream is recreating that Booker T and MGs/CCR/Link Wray sound, maybe find a laid-back keys player, bass and percussion (whatever for it takes, moving big drum kits is work) and just lay down a nice steady groove that would fill up but not overwhelm a brewery crowd on a Friday night. You know, stuff we'd like to play but most people would recognize eventually and dig, the kind of thing that makes people smile without knowing why. I can see the occasional Stones deep cut working in there, some Beatles, working our way up to Tom Petty but not much harder in terms of skull-cracking rock. Bill Withers? Pink Floyd? LOL. Who knows?
