I'm a New York City based violinist with 17 years of extensive training in jazz, swing, bluegrass, and Texas style fiddling. As a Berklee alumni, I can also sightread well, learn parts by ear quickly and improvise over changes. While I specialize in these genres I can also help you out if you need strings for a pop, world music or classical project! Anything goes.

I play regularly throughout the city with various jazz ensembles, and also have recent experience with television recording work as well as sessions for both commercial jingles and personal projects.

In addition to these services, I also teach private lessons primarily in the bluegrass/western swing/jazz genres, but can teach more classically oriented music to beginner/intermediate students if desired. The lessons will be happily tailored to the individual student, and I can help you with anything from technique and sight reading to improvisation and learning by ear!
