I am a performing Country/Americana songwriter and leader of the band The Gordon Ellis Ensemble. Original material.
Strong voice, good stage presence, wide vocal range. I play acoustic guitar. Arrange vocals. My music tends more towards Traditional Country but also Americana. I also call it "Relevant Country." Nice mix of uptempo, mid-tempo, ballads. I have been paying members a small "Appreciation fee" per gig.
Looking for a drummer who is sensitive to dynamics--is energetic without playing too loud (Lyrics are important), and someone who is GOOD AT HARMONIES.
We were starting to play out and recently lost our drummer.
