Mature and reliable guitarist/bassist with many years of experience, currently part of a local Metro West cover band. Decent theory background, and comfortable with rhythm or lead guitar work, and proficient on bass too. I like to sing, have good pitch, and good at backing vocals and harmonizing. Not a professional, but professional in my approach. Comfortable with a lot of styles of music, with exception of hard core or metal.

Influences
Despite my influences, I like to keep current with what people like as that is part of being in a cover band. But bands that have shaped my playing: Beatles, Steely Dan, John Scofield, Zeppelin, Los Lonely Boys, Eagles, Funk Bands, Dawes, Fastball....in general songs with good melody, harmony, and get people moving. Country is OK with me too, and like to do a little pickin' when I get the chance.
