I used to sing in a band of kids a few years younger than me, with the program School Of Rock, and I’m planning on joining their adult program band. However, I’m looking for something more permanent, a band to commit to and tour with. I love to sing onstage, and I’ve learned that I’m def a rock singer, not a musical theatre singer. I feel like shows don’t happen enough, and I just really want the chance to be part of something where I can perform more, with an official team of musicians much closer to my age, and not just people registered in a program. Right now I have moderate commitment, because I practice, but haven’t needed to practice much, since I don’t have an official band. The School Of Rock Program bands don’t really tour, so time is put in, but not nearly as much time as I would need to in a normal band. If I was in one though, I’d treat it as a job, schedule much more practice time during the week etc.. I’ve never recorded in a studio, because I’ve never had the opportunity, but I’ve always wanted to. Availibility for gigs and all I’m not sure of right now, I’m starting community college tomorrow so I’ll have that, but I have friends in college and in bands, so I don’t think it’ll be a problem. Weekends I think I’ll be mostly available though, and probably different points during the week. Also, all the gigs I’ve played have been School Of Rock Shows. And lastly, range wise, I’ve been told I’m a low soprano, so I’m gonna say that’s what I am. Thank you for taking the you time to read this, and I hope you consider me for your band ????
