Hello All.
We are a local Post-Punk/Alternative/Hard-Rock Houston band called ATR (Although a name change is imminent) and we have been playing around the Houston circuit for about 2 years now and continue to search for more friends and connections. Here on Bandmix we are looking for talented instrumentalists who understand what it takes to rise from being a good band to a GREAT band as far as dedication and creativity goes.

We put lots and lots of thought and effort into our songs both lyrically and musically. Our material is laced with a large amount of musical complexity. We are theatrical, artistic, and asthetically have darker roots.

In our pictures posted here you will currently see a "full" line-up, however, a few of these musicians are our friends who have been great in getting the project to its current distance, but we feel that it is time to look for more passionate individuals who may help us get the rest of the way.

Finally: We are looking for those who know how to have fun while simultaneously knowing hoe to treat the band as a business. We also take pride in our duties to rock out as hard as F**KING possible with the only exception that we refuse to do so under excessive use of drugs or intoxicants. Too many bad-ass bands have lived too short of a life due to such things and we'd shoot before letting those take us down. Also, we ain't tolerating any Man-Ho's..

Influences

We believe that a phenomenal stage show is equally as important as the music itself. We put lots of effort into our stage presence in hopes to pull our audience completely out of their daily life.

Of course we are rooted in the punk, metal, alt rock asthetic, yet additionally, we aim for darker and theatrical styles often inspired by vintage/retro 50's-80's Horror, Sci-Fi, and Crime Thriller film & pop-culture. However, with each album a new and fresh era of musical and visual style will also follow.

Our musical inlfuences stem from genres like Jazz, Blues, Rock (older and contemporary), Metal, and Pop/Post-Punk.

Artists/Bands include: Ramones, Slipknot, Misfits, HIM, My Chemical Romance, Marylin Manson, NIN, SOAD, Rush, Jack White, Prince, David Bowie, MC5, The Killers, Iron Maiden, etc.) Of course we are open to other suggestions that help with the creative process and are open to covers.

The goal is to stand out as much as possible and distinguish ourselves by stepping out of our comfort zones and taking risks. We wish to work with openminded experimental individuals who are not just musicians, but are also performers; creative, dedicated, and energetic wild cards. We hope to collaborate with like-minded individuals with the similar visions.

Members Of Band

All current members of the band are late teens and early 20's. We find that working with those in a closer age range works best.

We have a vocalist and lead guitarist.
We are looking for a rhythm guitarist/back-up singer (super awesome if you know how to scream), a bassist, and a dummer.

- Full Yamaha Drum Kit (Could use another crash, plus any additions)
- Vox guitar amp
- Fender guitar Amp
- Vocal Monitor, Mic stand, SM58 Mic
- Fender bass amp
- Looking to invest in amp cabs, heads, and more pedals
- Open toother equipment that would make for a better show/sound.
