ABOUT

Hey, what's up? The name's Frankie, I'm from Hayward, CA, and I'm a drummer of 5 years.

It's been a bit of an odd road to where I am right now... When I was WAY younger, I tried piano. Didn't work out. I've tried guitar twice. Both attempts were failures. But drums..... I'm not trying to brag here, but it seemed to just come to me like, **.

I've been playing with a Jazz band for a while now, and it's really helped me out as a musician. I'm OK playing Jazz, more Jazz Rock than traditional Jazz, but my true love is Classic Rock, and video game music (Super Mario, to be exact). It's my life, in a sense. It's what I live for.

Influences

To be honest, all those Rock bands are my influences. Well, everyone except Supertramp. Never really got into them.

EQUIPMENT

I play a 6-piece Pearl Session Custom kit with 5 Sabian cymbals. It's a real chore loading it, unloading it, setting up, and tearing down. But the end result is worth every last bit of it.
