ABOUT

I’m an experienced drummer-vocalist-percussionist who’s played professionally for over 40 years. When I was (????seventeen) young I primarily played both kinds of music: Rock & Roll. Professional necessities, education and maturity have made my talents and repertoire more eclectic to include: Country,Jazz,Blues,Reggae,Show Tunes, Symphonic, Praise, Jam band,Pop, Funk etc...I’m looking for bands to record with, jam with, audition for, sub for but ideally to join.

Influences

Mostly classic rock but jazz, fusion, blues, reggae and show tunes are in my wheelhouse. My favorite artists are Springsteen,The Who,Beatles,Stones,John Hiatt,Bonnie Raitt, Rickie Lee Jones,Weather Report,Bob Marley.
My drumming influences are Max Weinberg,Keith Moon,Hal Blaine,Jim Palmer, Billy Cobham,Ringo,Charlie Watts,DJ Fontana and many more.

EQUIPMENT

I have several kits (TAMA,Premier,Roland,Ludwig) but I usually use my TAMA starclassics (4-7 pieces) with Zildjian A cymbals. I also have a Roland octapad kit I can add to an acoustic kit or use it by itself. In addition I have a full percussion set up(congas,bongos,timbales,shakers,tambourines etc...) with to many toys to mention.
Also have a smaller JBL PA (speakers on a stick, powered sub,12 channel Mackie). Plus a medium size EV system I’m trying to sell or rent. It has 2 18” subs and pro EV high end cabs. Crown power, Soundcraft board etc.
