ABOUT

Bass player, new to the area. Looking to connect with a current project/band in need of a bass player. Possibly form something if the chemistry is there. Mostly interested in cover bands, although I'm not opposed to being a side man for original singer/songwriters. Have also done some studio work for a variety of players/styles/genres/etc.

Bass influences: Marcus Miller, Steve Harris(Maiden), P-Nut(311), Rocco Prestia(Tower of Power),Tim Commerford(Rage/Audioslave) ...among many others.

Musical influences: I assume my answer to this will be similar to many others on this board. Influence comes from a variety of sources. I listen to quite a lot of music that I wouldn't necessarily play, but it finds it's way into my style one way or another. Example, I love Slayer and Prince, equally but for different reasons. Frank Sinatra makes me smile, especially when Count Basie is backing him up, and it's very common for my Spotify playlist to go from Dua Lipa to Killswitch Engage to Aesop Rock.
