I am a trained alto singer. I started singing in show choirs and musical theatre productions. I studied voice, singing, acting and dancing at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. In my early 30s I was a lead singer in a small professional jazz band singing standards from the 20s-50s. This is where I found my sound and passion. I got away from singing and focused on art teaching for 10 years. I am looking for a big band 40s style or a small jazz ensemble to be their lead singer for local gigs occasionally.

How High the Moon
How High the Moon Track number: 1 Year: 2003 Album: Majic Genre: Jazz
This was the last time I actually recorded anything because it was the last time I had a band. 15 years ago! I am much more loose with the notes now and less self-conscious.

World on a String
World on a String Track number: 2 Year: 2003 Album: Majic Genre: Jazz
This was also 15 years ago! I would probably take all songs down 1/2 step or so now!
