We are a vintage rock and roll style band primarily playing original material. Some covers we play include artists such as: Elvis, Brian Setzer, Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins, etc.
What we are looking for is preferably someone to play upright bass (we have one here).
We're also looking for a strong vocalist, male or female. We've had a lot of people audition for this, so please make sure that you are actually familiar with and interested in the type of music we do prior to setting something up. There have been people who have not had a clue about what we do and it just ends up wasting everyone's time.
Also of interest, would be a slap bassist who sings, so a combination of the two positions we are looking to fill IS acceptable!
Prior band experience is not necessary - we are just looking for someone (or people) who is talented and has the same direction as we do!
I hate to sound like a broken record, but I must say it again, PLEASE make sure that you're at least familiar with the type of music we do prior to trying to set something up. Nothing is worse than having someone show up and be like "oh, I didn't know it was going to be this type of music". Sounds crazy, but it happens!

EQUIPMENT
We have a FULL PA system, with brands like Aphex, Shure, Mackie, Tascam, EV, QSC and more. We have plenty of power, pre-amps, compressors, EQ's and much more.
For a bassist, if you're interested in slapping the upright, there is one here. An amp is temporarily available, but it would be better if you had your own.
