I play a hybrid kit with Roland electric drums and Sabian cymbals. I love funk, R&B and bluesy rock.
I’m 65, started playing at 15.
I didn’t play from ‘78 until ‘05 (elbow injury).
Began playing again in 2005, using my hands only. Because of the injury, which caused focal dystonia, I don’t use drumsticks. I realize that sounds weird but, trust me, it works just fine. :-)
I’m looking for a guitarist and keyboardist to put together a funk/rock/R&B band.
I have three committed players already. Bassist, percussionist (congas etc) and a female singer.
