ABOUT

Grey Street is a Dave Matthews Tribute Band based in Phoenix, Arizona. The band is being reformed and has our original "Dave" on guitar and vocal, our original drummer, and our original electric violinist.

We are seeking three new band brothers:

5-String Bassist
Keyboardist having appropriate keyboards
Saxophonist having appropriate saxophones

We knew approximately 49 songs very close to note-for-note, were together about 7 years, and played around Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale. Since time has passed, we must replace our great saxophonist, bassist, and keyboardist.

The task is challenging even for us who used to have the songs down pat. But, boy, is it a rush !!! So, if interested, you really need to be familiar with DMB especially Central Park and Listener Supported concerts.

You also REALLY need to have a burning desire to play in a DMB tribute band because it will take a lot of time at home learning the arrangements and parts, and time for reasonable fun practices. It also takes a lot of energy, so younger players are encouraged to contact us.. jorgephoenixx at yah.

These tribute songs are long arrangements. Song #41 is 11:38 min, Crush is 8:10, Ants Marching is 4:28, Crash into Me is 4:17, Two Step is 14:27, and so on. We play the arrangements as close as possible, but it's not as hard as it sounds. You are welcome to play from charts you create. Your instrument is your business.

We will supply all mp3s and lots of encouragement. Studio rehearsals will be when we are ready for them and our excitement gets out of hand lol.

Right now, live music, and bars themselves, are shut down. But, this will give us the months it will take to get our first set together. Things will open, not soon, but maybe fall. In the mean time, we will get it together. jorgephoenixx at yah.
