Grrl Jam, the only female Pearl Jam tribute band, (and pearl jam likes us), is now hunting for some FEMALE musicians for our GRUNGE band.. serious enquiries ONLY. already paid for rehearsal space, paid gigs upcoming. We always audition for regular and backing guitars, and we definitely need a keyboardist who has her own portable equipment and who can handle herself in a professional manner. Gigs are in clubs, hotels, and in festival settings- so we prefer someone over 21, but will consider someone younger if they have the right chops, and pro attitude. No drugs, no drama. Must be reliable, able to rehearse at least one night a week, and be able to travel on weekends if necessary to gig locations with time for setting up before the shows. (Yeah, you know how bad it can be when s%it happens). Professional studio, all rehearsals recorded for YOU and US- so you can use it for your future gigs, if you want, or to see how to improve if you want. That's how we like things. Should be familiar with Pearl Jam music, or at least be a fan of grunge. ALL our gigs are paid, and we don't pay to play. If you want in, please respond

Influences

Music mixes Pearl Jam, Zappa, Blue Oyster Cult, PJ Harvey, Pete Townshend, Queen, and The Who as primary influences. However, everyone from Arlo Guthrie to The GIts, to Them Crooked Vultures, to tons of independent bands-- major influences. Grew up in major city where street busking was the primary sources of live music. LOVE Grunge, love indie, and anything that's not the usual.
