I started playing harp at 15 years old and playing on stage at 18 with Jim Elverson & the southern comfort band.and have played with alot of bands since then.I believe the harmonica is meant to mostly be a back ground/rythem instrument with a breakout lead when asked.I do enjoy playing it Hot and Fast but like slow and easy as well.Im not much of a showman and would prefer to be in the backgroud.I do get fired up and really enjoy playing with good musicians and am very respectfull about not stepping on my fellow players.I just love to play and have times in my life where i was between bands and did not play for periods of time and always missed it ,It keeps me young.I do have good vocals for deeper raspy type blues or country and have a good ear for singing back up vocals ,I dont worry that much about getting paid mabey just enough to pay my gas unless im doing alot of hauling and setting up.Im open to hearing from anyone and can fit in to most any type music where harp fits in .Thanks Gruff
