ABOUT

Bassist in the Burlington area, looking to:
(1) collaborate on metal & electronic rock/trap-metal songs;
(2) jam locally for fun,
(3) play local gigs for kicks.

Extended travel gigs or tours aren't feasible right now due to other things keeping me busy in life. I've usually got free time during the weekend daylight hours!
I was formerly in the Greenville SC-based progressive rock band State of Illusion, and I now write and record bass-oriented tracks on my You-Tube channel, Good-Simon Gear.

I have a full digital mixer setup for multitrack recording & mixing in Studio One, as well as an in-ear monitoring setup for silent band practice with up to 4 members. I'm paranoid about protecting my hearing, so I strongly prefer in-ear practice setups. I don't own any bass amplification - I practice silent, and I'd rather leave live sound to FoH.
