Experienced guitarist / vocalist and drummer combo who've been playing together for years in various rock bands (from bars to Jew Ma's & Norva, etc.) looking for a cool, talented bassist. Laid back situation. We mostly focus on original material, so willingness to participate in that process is the key, and yeah we'll get some covers going. Improvisation skills and vocal skills a huge bonus. This is a hobby and we want a no-drama situation, so prelim for that is that you have a day job, decent gear and transportation just like us. We have jobs and families now, but still have the chops and desire to stay out there. Mostly for fun as an outlet and pleasure of writing / performing / recording quality material. Practice spot in VB at Oceana, some recording capabilities and gear. Music is definitely rock-centric, plenty of blues influence in the solo guitar work. Existing material has everything from indie/folk vibe to early metal & punk influences throughout, depending on the track. Very eclectic and open to new ideas always. Gameplan is to get bassist in the fold, then decide if we need another vocalist or whatever. Easy going guys here. Hit us up outside at jasonupinhere at gee mail dot com.
