Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Baritone, Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist - Soprano, Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Background Singer, Other, Dobro, Vocalist - Alto.

I play guitar (strong rhythm and some lead).I also play bass and sing. I can read and improvise but I enjoy and prefer learning songs from the recordings. I have over 30 years of playing and performing experience (call nine 3 seven - 8 three 2 - four seven 1 eight.) Most of my experience was during the mid '70s, '80s and '90s in Top 40 bands, with some Motown, funk, R&B, 50s Doo Wop, lounge, country and a few standards. I have strong vocals (lead and harmony) and I like all styles of music. I have no interest in fronting a band but I am willing to sing my share of the songs. I live in Englewood and have a full time job and a family. I'm not interested in a recording career or a road band experience. I would like to play weekend club gigs (maybe a wedding or party) a few times a month. I don't mind some travel but I prefer to play in the Dayton area. I am willing to rehearse 1 night a week and would like to work with experienced musicians who share mutual musical interests. No drama or drugs. ( georgeb309 at aol ) I have an assortment of pro level equipment. If you think I might fit into your band, send me a song list or a few .mp3 files and I will show up ready to play. If you are not playing the songs in the same key as the recording, include the key you are using.
