Im a guitarist with about 25 years of experience. Have played in all kinds of bands ranging from metal to Jam bands to classical guitar ensembles.. I do write a fair amount of music that is also hard to pin down in a single genre and I do have a very professional rig that is stage ready for any size venue. I owned and operated a recording studio for over a decade and also have a ton of recording equipment... Im looking for a project that is interesting, dont care what genre it is as long as the creativity and song writing is good. I can play lead, rhythm, acoustic, classical etc.. I am willing to take a project as far as it can go, will quit day job the second it becomes necessary should a band get to that point!

Influences
Lately I have been getting into bands like Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Opeth, Mastadon, the intervals, Animals as leaders, Steven Wilson, Buckethead.. I do like heavy progressive stuff quite a bit but I really like it when the emphasis is on songwriting over technical prowess. In my mind one should flow naturally from the other... I tend to write music in odd meters fairly often and lean toward a through composed approach as opposed to standard radio songwriting format but I am really open to anything as long as its got some depth.. I also listen to a lot of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Tool, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Testament, JImi Hendrix, Garaj Mahal, Phish, Disco Biscuits, Zeppelin etc. etc.. etc..

EQUIPMENT
I have a ton of gear.. More than enough to play any venue in Denver. My main rig for most gigs and practice would be a 130 Watt Victory Head, pair of 2x12 cabs, line 6 Helix and a few stomp boxes but I have multiple gig ready amp/cab/Fx combinations and I am a gear junkie if ever there was one.. Main guitars are a Music Man JP15, Gibson SG and a Grover Jackson custom build...
I also have a pretty sweet protools set up, excellent preamps and outboard gear, A/D converters, tons of high end mics.. The whole 9 yards.
