Hello, I have been playing music for some time now. I am currently in a gigging band but the genre is a mix that I dont wish to continue. I am looking for musicians that are willing to work hard and practice the selected songs we pick that are genre specific and to work on stage presence also. I am interested in playing music along the lines of southern rock, classic rock, newer rock, blues, alternitive and soul... NO COUNTRY! If we get hired to play a hall, they will know our genre and wont be a band that is so-so at either style. Practice is a must atleast 2 evenings a week and if married your spouse has to support you and respect the work involved with it. New originals are good and I believe should be included but most the places that pay for bands want to hear covers,,, originals will be considered seperate ok.
