SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Background Singer.
I am interested in music as an art, but also in terms of science, and history. I am most familiar with Rock N' Roll, Industrial, Pop and play mainly Hard Rock and older Heavy Metal.
I learned more songs by bands like Metallica, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc. on guitar and Tool and Marilyn Manson on bass. I like Industrial, and martial industrial music as well.
I used to really get into karaoke locally and would like to write some songs and eventually perform on the weekends. As more of a Baritone singer, I sing mainly David Bowie and The Doors.
I'm working on reading music and understanding music theory better. I've recently been working on teaching myself piano and reading about the science, both in physics and ethnomusicology, as well as the history of music.
I would prefer to hang out near either Bethesda, DC or Rockville. I also am interested in all sorts of art and technology, so experimenting with recording sounds and photographing events would be enjoyable for me.
Anyhow, send me a note if you'd like to try jamming sometime or if you need some kind of an assistant.

First thing I wrote the day I got my piano, never playing before. It's obviously simple and all flats.
