Hi there. Experienced lead vocalist and friends looking to build an alt/rock band. We'll focus on covers first, polish up our sound, gig a bit, then work on introducing originals. We have a working cover song list, an air conditioned rehearsal space and a very good idea of the sound we want: very driven and energetic, but more focus on quality and professionalism over sheer noise. We don't mind getting loud, but want to do it really well, and only when it serves the song. We're not in a hurry, but are driven to accomplish getting "out there".
You: should be honest & reliable, sober enough to focus on the sound and not a showboater, and no drama. We're looking bass, drums, keys, backup vocals (you will get your turn as the lead mic though, somewhere in the set), or almost anything else. The right mix of players is more important that the exact instruments involved.
