I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist/pianist (28yrs old) in need of a talented, experienced, solid drummer and bassist (21+). Trying to get a band off the ground to work on a large catolog of complete songs and ideas that I currently have, but need a bassist and drummer to help me bring these songs to life. The plan is simple. Rehearse regularly for about 2-3 months to get our feet on the ground. Next, gig regularly throughout the NW burbs for 2-3 months to work out the kinks. Finally, to start gigging mercelessly downtown Chicago until everyone knows who we are. In fact, I have just signed a deal with Templar Pictures to produce a music video for the first single off of an upcoming record, "A Letter" later this summer. Looking to stick to accessible music. Nothing too complex, but songs with good melody and substance. Influences are Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, The Police, U2, The Beatles, Bowie, etc. There is no ego nor drugs in this environment. Just very good friendly musicians that are willing to go the extra mile to make things happen. Very serious and professionally minded. If this sounds like you, let's get started.
