Haitian Nation is a collaborative network of artists, producers, and musicians creating music and media to generate awareness and resources for people in the developing world who face extreme poverty and social injustice. We want to do something beyond just making music, shows, and doing events. We want to be part of a global movement that is already happening. This is a movement of people who love God and identify themselves as servant leaders that go into their communities and transform them. Life begins at the end of our comfort zones when we want to be part of something that’s bigger than us. This is our heartbeat at Haitian Nation and why we want to advocate and bring resources to our brothers and sisters in need. We’re just ordinary people that God is using to make a great impact on our community. Music is only the mouthpiece of that movement. We can use it as a tool to speak life and bring hope in areas surrounded by darkness, apathy, and oppression. People’s lives are at stake and we have the opportunity to take down the obstacles that suppress their voices in the midst of poverty and injustice. Haitian Nation is building a community of people who can come together as one “voice” and advocate for justice.
