“Apache” is a British tune written by Jerry Lordan and the debut hit in England played by Cliff Richards’ back-up group “The Shadows”. Apache scored big in the states for Danish guitarist, Jorgan Ingman in 1961 climbing to number 2 on the charts and was also performed by The Ventures.

This tune was the theme song from one of the longest running crime shows in TV history. When the show first aired, it bombed because it was running against Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-in. CBS started running radio spots featuring this song and it became a runaway hit, reaching number 4 in 1969. This song is a tribute to Jack Lord. As Hawaii Five-O’s co-star Kam Fong as Chin Ho used to say…..Bookem’ Dano… Murder One!

“Walk, Don’t Run” made famous by The Ventures. Originally written by jazz guitarist, Johnny Smith in 1958, whose title originated from a New York Subway sign. The tune was later recorded by guitar legend Chet Atkins. “The Ventures” got a lucky break in 1960 when KJR, Seattle’s biggest rock and roll station used their version as a prelude to the hourly news cast. “The Ventures” success skyrocketed.
