ABOUT

I am concentrating exclusively on preparing for solo performance after having played in two rock bands. I have written and performed on keyboards note-for-note transcriptions of instrument parts for piano, strings, winds, bass, and vocal harmony in tunes by Beach Boys, Bruce Hornsby, Elton John, Christopher Cross, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, The Temptations, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Dave Brubeck, much more. Current project: transcribing and rehearsing early barrelhouse, boogie, blues piano recordings, plus African kora and guitar and Malagasian marovany recordings adapted for piano. I am also personally working on a solo Mandolin Family Jazz/Classical recording project. Winner Second Prize 2004 Classical Mandolin Society of America Composers Competition. I created a keyboard pitch bend pedal. I am retired from the postal service.
