Looking to play with a small jazz group interested in a straight-ahead swing style. It would be great to hang with a piano or organ player here in Vegas.
Played in Canada and Los Angeles with Dixieland bands including jazz combos for many years. I was fortunate to have played with many pro players over the years.

Influences
I dig straight-ahead jazz piano. Cats like Oscar Peterson Ahmed Jamal, Barry Harris and Chick Corea are just some of the many artists on my top 100.
So many influences but Jeff Hamilton and Steve Smith are in my top 10 list.

Joe MacSweeney at Eames Drums in Boston made my 3 pc birch drum kit years ago. I have a Noble & Cooley and a custom-made Ayotte snare drum. All cymbals are Turkish hand-hammered and very sweet pies.
