I'm looking to get involved in a new project with some top notch players. I'd like to gig w a band that does mostly covers w maybe also a few originals. I'm looking to have a great simple original and unique sound (not looking to "sound like the record" but more interested in coming up w unique cool arrangements).
I am open to possibilities but I'm thinking I'd like to keep it simple - perhaps just 2 guitars (or keys) bass and drums. Perhaps acoustic and electric which I think sounds really nice (check out my recording of Bertha here as I played acoustic, electric, bass and drums only). Also, need to split vocals and harmonies.
I work a serious "corporate job" so not looking to make my living w music but my schedule is flexible and allows time for commitment to rehearsal and sounding great.
