ABOUT

Hi I'm Hayden. I am an amateur musician seeking people to jam with once or twice a week. I've self taught myself guitar and piano on off for a while and I've taken three years of piano and about a year of guitar lessons formally. I feel pretty confident in basic keyboard playing and rhythm guitar playing. On guitar I have a good understanding of the different positions for most root and 7th chords (definitely not a jazz player...yet!)I'm working on my scales and basic pentatonic lead playing. I am interested in meeting up with musicians who who view themselves as amateur to intermediate players. I majored in Vocal Performance in college. I have a good handle on music theory and form. My main motivation is to have fun playing with others and grow musically. I'm open to just jamming and feeling things out. I'm down to learn some songs to cover. And it could be cool to try to write some original stuff too if it comes naturally.
