Having been involved in music since the age of 8 years old, Harold Whaley has covered a complete gamut of entertainment ventures. Most people tend to be involved in and master one or a couple of components of the industry, but Harold has been labeled as a renascence man of the entertainment business. Joining the military at the age of 17 allowed him to travel to destinations that opened his horizons for a fruitful adventurous future career in the entertainment industry. While in the Navy, Harold found himself working with some of the most prominent industry figures of our day. To include Al Green, Patti Labelle, Deniece Williams, GQ, and Heatwave to mention a few.
Having worked with C4 Productions as a producer penning tracks for the infamous DeathRow Records, he was witness to many legendary dealings during Tha Row’s most prominent success days. Harold was signed as a vocalist to Deemo/Solar/Hines Records, which was the home to some of the greatest music of our era, also the first home of super producer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. Having control over his audience was important to Harold, who ventured out to the internet and became involved with MP3 as it was rising to prominence. He has been hailed as one of the first artist to ever sell a legal mp3 download on the internet. He was recognized as “Best Urban Artist of the Year”, in 1999 as a recipient of the San Diego Music Award. BET awarded him with the title of “Next Breakaway Artist of the Millienum on as a Online Vote on the website BET, in June 2000. Harold Whaley has dedicated himself to educating artist around the globe by speaking at many conferences about the alternative ways of promoting your projects though non-conventional means of advertising and promotion. Designing Award Winning websites were soon part of his arsenal for he has work with clients like Soul Train Television, Les Brown, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Alicia Hall. Not one to reject having too many things on his plate, he now holds the position as Program Director for two major online radio stations by way of the Urban Network Magazine. When it comes to Out-Of –The-Box thinking, Harold Whaley is leaps and bounds ahead of the Game.
