ABOUT

I am a bassist, 19 years old, in Saginaw, Texas, north of downtown Fort Worth. I have been playing bass for almost 4 years and music in general for 8: I played bass clarinet from 6th grade until I graduated high school.

I have stage and studio experience. I was in a pop/progressive band for about a year and a half. We played about a dozen shows and recorded a few times in a professional studio.

I have always been an easy guy to get along with. I'm usually the mediator when it comes to friends or band mates. I don't drink a bit of alcohol and I don't do drugs either, but I'm cool if you do, as long as it's not messing things up.

My main bass influences include Mic Todd (Coheed and Cambria), Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam), Justin Chancellor (TOOL), Geddy Lee (Rush), Flea (RHCP), and Stefan Lessard (Dave Matthews Band). I'm a fan of many bands and sounds and I'm open to playing and experimenting with all kinds of genres (not limited to rock). My mindset with the music I play and write is to just play and write what I like and what sounds good to me, regardless of what it is.
