I've moved here from Australia and been too busy to play much music until this year. Although I can be a solo performer I'd like to get together with some other musicians to jam and maybe arrange some numbers to perform. My influences are broad and I find there's usually some music in any genre that I like. Go to my website (heartmanmusic) to find links to some of my music (this is only some of my solo work). Still haven't got a license as I don't own a car but hoping to get one soon. Until then I am using public transport/bike/uber to get around so it shouldn't be a problem for getting somewhere with a guitar.

EQUIPMENT
I currently have a classical guitar with built in pickup, steel string acoustic with pickup and a Les Paul copy (J&D Luthiers LP Custom). I am planning to purchase an electric bass which I also played back in Australia. I have a Vox tonelab LE multi effects that I run my guitars through and plug straight into the PA or powered monitor on stage. I also have some adequate but not great mics. and mic. stands.

The University of San Francisco
The University of San FranciscoOne of, if not the first song that I wrote. This was in the early 80's when I was playing with The Dregs in Adelaide, Australia. Little did I know that years later I would be living here! We recorded this bouncing between two tape decks to add each layer so it's not a great recording but impressive given the limitations of recording that way (no mixing possible after each take). I played the guitars, synth bass and lead/backing vocals. Our drummer played the drums and backing vocals too.
