Early Years:
Heather Lynn is a professional singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. She was born and raised in Washington DC with her 9 siblings, but in 2012 her family made the move to Music City in support of her career. Heather's love for music began at an early age, when she started learning piano at 8 years old. After only a year of playing piano, Heather experimented with writing her own original music. Being so young, she was insecure about letting anyone hear her sing her songs, but soon enough Heather opened up to the world. When Heather was 11 years old, she started performing in school events and singing covers online. Every time she sang or wrote a new song, Heather's passion for music grew dramatically. Just 2 years later, she would be in Nashville pursuing her dream as a singer/songwriter.

Coming To Nashville:
When Heather came to Nashville, she was only 13 years old. Although she didn't know where to start, her determination to be heard kept her moving. Shortly after arriving, Heather started meeting people in the music industry. Being a Pop/R&b artist, her music stood out from the abundance of country artists in the area. Staying true to herself and her writing, she began working with professionals to help her artistic and business development, at 14. Over the course of 2-3 years Heather participated in rigorous vocal lessons, which broadened her voice's range and abilities. She also performed a weekly 2 hour set at Valentino's Ristorante, a piano bar in Downtown Nashville, in order to improve her skills as an entertainer. Additionally, Heather sang at multiple events for Hollywood Meets Nashville, a popular Grammy viewing party, where she mingled with other artists and people in the industry.

Opportunities:
Through her hard work, Heather received some amazing opportunities. While performing at Valentino's, Heather met and sang in front of many notable people, including Kelly Pickler and Gary Chapman. This was also how she met Tajci Cameron, who gave Heather her first formal interview on Cameron's web series "Waking Up In America." Since then, Heather has been interviewed through multiple different mediums. Another opportunity Heather received, was to be invited to sing the TN state song, 2014 and 2015, at the annual event, "A Tennessee Waltz" hosted by Governor Haslam at the State Capitol. Lastly, in 2015, Heather won a scholarship fund from Motown Record's "Heroes and Legends Awards," following a submission of her singing "I'll Be There" by The Jackson 5. She received her prize at the HAL Award's in California at The Beverly Hills Hotel, where she found herself rubbing elbows with some of music's greatest legends. This included Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, El Debarge, Bobby Brown, The Dramatics, Ray Parker, Tony Toni Tonè, and so many more.
