ABOUT

My name is Dan I live in Columbus Ohio and play a mix of lead and rythm guitar (thank you very much Boss Delay Pedals!) I am looking for a bassist and drummer to play Hard Progressive Rock music like Korn, Mudvayne, Deftones, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Dope, Flaw, Slipknot, Spineshank etc... I play a Gibson Les Paul through a 100 watt Mesa Dual Rectifier Solo head and a full stack of Crate 4x12's. I use Boss Delay, Flanger and Noise Supressor Pedals and an Ibanez Weaping Demon Wah pedals. I am very intense at practice and on stage, jumping around and headbanging the ENTIRE time, so if you cant get down, dont get in my band! At practice we like to chill, smoke drink and play music.. We dont mess around we get stuff done.. Play a few smoke a cigarette, try to freestlye something, play some more, you get the point.. The house we practice at is guarded by a massive Bull Mastive and the biggest Pit Bull's you have ever seen so needless to say your gear is safe there, nobody goes around it or touches it exept to straiten up and vaccum.. I have been doing backup vocals (singing and screaming) for years so I am ready to step up and sing and play guitar, I write all of my own guitar parts and all of my own lyrics.. I AM NOT LOOKING TO START A COVER BAND!!! NO LAME COVERS!!! I want to make it to a recording deal and tour the country, so if you do too and are willing to do what it takes to get there, give me a shout!!!

The You Tube videos are my old band, this is just to give you an idea of how I perform.. I am working on putting audio of just my guitar up..

EQUIPMENT

Silver Sunburst Gibson Les Paul (Model), 100 Watt Mesa Dual Rectifier Solo Head, 2 Crate 4x12 Speaker Cabinets (full stack). Ibanez Weaping Demon Wah pedal, Boss Flanger, Noise Suppressor and DD-7 Delay pedals. Shure PG48 Microphone (If I am going to sing lead vocals I would use my old Laney amp through one of my 4x12s and use the other 4x12 for my guitar because unfortunately I do not have a PA.) But that Mesa amp with one 4x12 is loud enough to get the job done so its all good..
