ABOUT

Ive been playin the bass for a year now. Im self tought. I learn/learnd very quickly I practice every single day ever since i bought my bass. Ive learnd mostly just from playing, watching concert videos, studying, trial and era, ive gottin tips from siblings and friends whov been playing for years i study and practice all diifernt methods of playing and plucking the bass and ive naild every one of them i dont stop till i have em just right. I have devolped an ear for music like what sounds right and what dosnt in only a year and i realy dnt have much of a backround in music, everything just kinda came natural to me right from the getgo, and im able to play and practice as often as i do cause i dnt have a tight schedule right now. Im highly commited i take it far more serious than some of my friends who have been playing for years i try to motivate them to play more but we only get toghether and jam like once a month and if it were up to me we would be playing every single day and we would be performing by now.

Influences

Im into 70s metal, rock, and punk and 80s thrash metal and new wave british metal and power metal. My number 1 influence to choose and learn how to play bass guitar and get involved with playing music is and always will be the late Cliff Burton of metallica.I also admire his 2 succesors Jason Newsted and Rob Trujillo,as well as Steve Harris of Iron Maiden,Cliff Williams of AC/DC,and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath. Im a die hard METALLICA fan as well as AC/DC, IRON MAIDEN, BLACK SABBATH. I also like to play THE MISFITS and many others but those r my favs. Im mostly into the old school metal, punk, and rock but im willing to play some disturbed kinda stuff and newer stuff of that nature

EQUIPMENT

I play a 20 fret limited adition Les Paul epiphone bass guitar with 2 humbucker pickups i love it, its more than a beginer bass it wasnt cheap and its real solid its got a nice rich thick sound and i can adjust it, it works like a fender jazz bass but its heavier with the 2 humbuckers installed. I am though looking at a new bass i have some in mind i just cant decide. I also have 2 distortion pedals to i can play those psychedelic Cliff Burton Bass lines I can play several what i lac is the wah pedal wich im also looking at getting soon and i currently use a used fender bass amp.
