Experienced rock/metal guitarist looking for drummers and singers to collaborate with. I've been playing for roughly a decade now under the wonderful tutelage of my father, a rock guitarist with 35+ years of experience. For the past couple years I've been playing with light college bands but now that I'm finished with school I'd like to branch out and follow my own rock and metal flavored musical passions. I love playing with groups so ideally a band would be really nice!
I have some of my own written stuff which ranges from simple acoustic all the way to heavy melodic death metal. I would love to collaborate with any and every drummer and/or singer out there. If you read my influences you'll find I'm very comfortable playing for a variety of genres so don't hesitate to ask me!
Any singers are encouraged to message me! I love high voices and always thought they're the best suited for the rock genre. I'd love to collaborate with any singers out there!

Influences
Geez where to start.
My acoustic guitar is influenced heavily by Tom Waits and Kansas. Beautifully plucked notes to violently struck chords. Add in a little percussive guitar and that about sums up my style. I can also do a little flamenco styling if you so desire.
My electric guitar is much more varied. Lead work is influenced by Steve Vai, a little Malmsteen and Buckethead, along with my own style of rapid fire picking. Pentatonic, Phrygian, and other minor modes are favorites of mine. The blues is a constant presence. I'm a big fan of Randy Rhoads. Rhythmically I love heavy and funky riffs from Led Zeppelin to Rage Against the Machine to Symphony X to Dream Theater. I'm also of huge fan of more technical work and single note playing in rhythm as heard in Dark Tranquility and Arch Enemy.
