Bassist and back up vocalist for .80sBrigade We average 50-60 gigs a year, and are continuously booked. Not lots of down time, but I'm considering a side project...I'm open to originals or covers, or a mix. I've played with a few dickheads prior to this band, so if you think your music and your band are the next big thing, if you want to continuously use your past band as a reference, If you are totally unrealistic about goals, I'm not interested. If you have thoughts about the direction of the band, and "your" songs, I'm not interested. Don't mean to come off as a jackass, but it's easier to weed out the turds and not waste our time. I prefer to work with talented, but humble people. My current band is just that... zero egos, shared everything, and no leader. Everyone contributes, and it is everyone's band. Regardless of who decided to form the band, everyone is equal, or I'm not interested. I have played nearly every style of music, but the few I'm not interested in any longer (because of over-saturation) is classic rock, country, Spanish. Nothing against them, but with classic rock - 19 out of 20 bands play it. No Mustang Sally, Freebird, etc... Great songs, but everyone does them. I've played guitar for 35yrs, but am not a lead player, but solid Rhythm. I LOVE harmonies...my specialty! T imAver ill69 dot com (no spaces if interested) Don't be offended if I turn you down... I'm looking for a specific style of music to play, and if yours isn't it, it's not that I don't like yours, but rather that its not what I want to play.
