ABOUT
Highway 61 is a cover band that is made up of seasoned performers. Each member logs over 25 years of musical and gigging experience. Highway 61 performs a mix of: blues, rock, classic rock and new country. Our main goal is to generate music that keeps people on the dance floor and promoting a good time. We began our project in the fall of 2007 as a five-piece band. Recently we lost a guitar player and our bass player due to scheduling and family conflicts.
We are currently looking for a bass player that would round out our line up and bring us back to a 4-piece band. We are looking for a dependable individual that would be able to practice once a week and gig a few times a month. Vocals are not a must but would be nice to help share the lode of lead vocals on a few songs and adding harmonies. We are based in the Lisbon, Brunswick Maine area.
