I have been a full-time professional bass player for more than a decade, and am looking for more gigs on weeknights and Sunday mornings in NYC. Also available for home recordings.
I have been performing for several wedding/club/cover bands, Gospel/Praise & Worship music ministries, and original music groups of R&B, Jazz, Pop, Folk, Authentic African (Senegalese), etc. I categorize myself as Funk/R&B/Gospel player but open to Reggae, Hip-Hop, and any other genre that’s musically interesting.
I both read charts and go by ear depends on the situation, and have a vast amount of repertoire (list of my repertoire is available upon request.) I’m also happy to learn new songs.
I have a reliable car to do gigs outside the city as well. I play ‘73 Fender Jazz bass, Mike Lull M5V, Bassalicious2 synth bass with TC Electronics RH450 amp head, and Aguilar 112 cab.
For home recordings, I use Logic Pro X, SSL2 audio interface, and Warm Audio WA73-EQ, and Aguilar Tone Hammer preamp/DI.
