Making an electronica album out of no where...^^
Vocals: 20(/25) years, Percussion: 10 years, Keyboards: 7 years, Sequencer: 3 years.
Korg DS-10: 6 months
Acid/SF: 5 years

I've been singing all my life. From early choirs, assorted bands, high school madrigals, various lead roles in musicals, & a non-pro trio for Opera Theatre of the Rockies in a local preformance with the colorado springs philharmonic. I read music proficiently, harmonize, sight-read decently, and have a great tonal memory. New music styles as well as classical are all enjoyable. I am used to fast deadlines & learn music quickly. Front-man missing notes, forgetting lines? I will not. I am used to stage preformance & singing night after night to meet dates. despite my classical background, I do not prefer that style, and generally prefer alternative rock music.

I am familiar with many percussive instruments, drumkits to xylophones. I now prefer hand drums, djembe & more ancient, practical drums.

I also enjoy modern keyboard sequencing to produce electronic music. I prefer yamaha generally for analogue, Sony Acid & Sound Forge for digital media. Now I'm adding the Korg to this mix.

On the side I dabble in game design, web design, art, writing, poetry, sociology, shamanism, divination, oneiromancy, transcription, study of ancient lore, anthropology, religions, magic, nature, mountains and love of life.

I have a lot to say...

couple of hand drums.
tons of inspiration & drive

Over the last 3 years I lost about $1000 in equipment to bad bands. My keyboard, remixer, mixer, amp, mics, switchboard, drumkit & guitar are all gone. Some stolen, others broken, some perma-borrowed...

At least they can never take my voice and rythem.^^
I would buy whatever I needed along the way. I will no longer buy instruments for other people, never again, and do not expect my bandmates to have to either.

I intend to collect as many traditional instruments as possible and learn all practical styles. I can play anything with a surface to tap on.
