Music for the Lord and His people
This is the mission of The Bard. Since 2018, Sean Scura has been pursuing a calling in the Lord Jesus Christ to serve and encourage the body of believers through music wherever the Lord sends him. Like the bards of old, serving nobility, The Bard views his role in the kingdom of God as such - serving the Lord and His nobility in the King’s court. A role and responsibility that he does not take lightly.

With a fierce commitment to lyrical and scriptural integrity, The Bard’s songs have been appreciated by many for their challenging and thought provoking messages.
The Bard’s musical styles span from a wide array of genres including Folk, Blues, Rock and more.

In the little town of Tuolumne CA, what began as a simple step of faith, filling a need in a small local church, grew into a heart for worship and a commitment to a larger calling. The Bard was formed in 2020 with a ragtag team of like-minded Christ followers looking to serve the Lord and their community through music. As a ministry, The Bard has been dedicated to serving the church as a whole, promoting unity among the body of believers and encouraging them through music.
In March of 2021, The Bard was called into full-time traveling ministry. Since then, Sean and his family have left behind much of their possessions to follow and serve wherever God leads.
The Bard released his first EP “Songs from the Living Room” in October of 2021, featuring 5 songs recorded exclusively in the Scura’s old living room.
