ABOUT

On and off bassist for 20 years, very dedicated for the last 10 or so.
Can do backup and lead vocals while playing.
Open to practicing and gigging every day. At the time of writing I practice 2-3 hours a day at the very least.
I am proficcient at writing basslines, both melodic/lead ones and more subtle rythmic or "rootsy" ones.

Coming to Austin early march for 3-6 months, before potentially moving there. I'm interested in playing live straight out of the gate.
Got a full studio set up at home, so we could work together remotely before I arrive, so everythings lines up.
Or, for a cover band; just practice on our own then perfect it over the course of the first few days after I arrive in town.

While I'm there I have pretty much 100% free time, and I'm up for spending as much of it as possible perfecting the music and getting the band where we want it to be.

As a person I am very amiable and open minded, dedicated and creative. I'm also a quick learner. I might seem a bit cold or distant at first, but that's just the culture I come from, and I warm up over time ;)

On stage I prefer not having the spotlight directly on me, but I don't mind stepping up and taking the lead when needed.

I think it's important that everyone in the band gets very familiar and comfortable with each other, so there's always room for free expression.

EQUIPMENT

Too much to list, I've got a pretty massive collection of instruments. Those will be staying in my home country tho, so while I'm there I'll aquire a few new ones, mainly the go-to's listed below.
For amplification I generally prefer a Aguilar tube rig, but I'll likely be using a pretty standard pedalboard with a DI.
Standard pedals; Envelope filter, compressor, OD, fuzz, EQ and reverb. I am ofcourse open to aquiring certain effects for certain songs, and I know how to tailor my sound to the mix.

My go to basses are 50's fender precision, 70's jazz bass (modern reissues, I'm not MADE of money) and Rickenbacker 4003, depending on the style of music.
