August 7,2010 Back again here at bandmix. Hooked up with two guys and played some really original and sultry kind of jazz that i'm sure would have been well recieved. Very rythmic and catchy. The problem is that its been 18 months and I can't get these guys past eight songs. The garage bands from high school used to learn 8 songs in a weekend but that was a long time ago. Anyway these guys are never going to come out and play. They just don't have it. At 58 yrs old I am burning to play in a band again. My best offering here is as a bassist. However I think it would be a blast to hook up with people who could play different instraments and to do that live would be somewhat unique and could only broaden what we bring to the table so to speak. I'd love to get a female vocalist involved actually anyone that could sing would be fine with me. As far as my voice-I can carry a tune but Tony Bennet I ain't. So as long as its not rap or dead on country I'm game. If any of this sounds interesting to anyone please call me (joe) 732-939-6548. I live in Red Bank. have a full tilt studio in my house for rehersal and you can throw a stone from here and hit three or four places that we could play. Thats my story. (So far).
