Holy Smokes Seeks Full-Time Drummer for Recording, Rehearsing & Touring. We play All-Original Music inspired by early-to-mid 60s rock & roll + soul with a bit of early punk influence.

We get together 4-5 times a week in Muncie & will be playing shows as often as possible. We have plenty of original songs, a vision & a business plan - ready to hit the ground running with the right drummer!
We aren’t looking for any smashers or fidgety overplayers. Just a simple energetic beat with some well-placed fills like the records referenced above. Energy trumps technical skill always!
Familiarity with the bands listed below (or at least a willingness to dig into them) is also important so we are all on the same page.
No drugs, alcohol, drama or flakiness please. We are not interested in “jamming” or partying so if that’s what you’re after it won’t be a good fit. This is a full-time group & we intend to make a good living with it.
We have drums for rehearsal but you will need to come up with a set for the road.
All ages welcome but should be in good health to be able to handle the workload.
