Looking to start a punk/midwest emo band. I love writing music, suck at lyrics, and it would be awesome to collaborate with others. Live in south Minneapolis, and I've been playing guitar for about 25 years. I am also competent at bass, working on vocals.
For songwriting, I tend to like faster tempo (say 160-240bpm), lots of dynamics (soft/loud, double-time/half-time), open to a pretty wide range though. If it rocks, it rocks.
To get a rough idea of the commitment level I'm thinking, I've made it my goal to play a show at 7th street entry.
