I'm Chris and I currently am doing a solo project under the name Hosteen Coyote. I've played guitar for 17 years and have had formal training in composition amd theory. I mainly focus on lush chord progression with moving bass lines and flamenco stylings while singing, but l have been known to work my scales and modes in as a lead guitarist. I prefer minor scales and love writing dark, gypsy thrash folk songs about things that go bump in the night. Looking for other folk musicians wanting to write in the same vein. I know a variety of rock and folk cover songs as well to keep the crowd interested, but I'd like to focus on original work more. If you're influenced by dark cabaret, gypsy jazz, and punk rock all wrapped up in a folk ensemble then we should be making tunes!
