Usman Pranoto was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and at the early age of 12, her mother bought his first drum set. In 2006 he won a competition in Yamaha Junior Drum competition and won his second drum set. Shortly thereafter, Usman became a drum teacher at Yamaha Music Indonesia and Allegro Music school while he was enrolling bachelor degree in Arts.
His unique style of playing makes him plays a lots of regularly paid gigs and television shows In addition to Usman's many appearances on various recordings, band project, and he learn to play piano, bass and set a Music audio post production company in 2013. In 2015 he started to build his own band Pillium in addition to his Teaching at EKI dance and Yamaha Music Indonesia.
He is now studying Music Technology and PIT at World most famous Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. He studied with Thomas Pridgen, Benny Greb, Jason Harnel, Tim Mcyntire, Albe Bonacci and Kevin Stevens.
